Veronica Vidal Velasco receives 2017-2018 Goldstick Fellowship

Veronica Vidal Velasco, a doctoral student in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences, has received the 2017-2018 Goldstick Fellowship from the Illinois Department of Special Recreation. Veronica was selected for this prestigious award for her work on supporting peer interactions of children with developmental communication disabilities. The fellowship was established by Phillip C. and Beverly Kramer Goldstick in 2005 to recruit and train future faculty in the area of communication and disability.
