Doctoral student Maysoon Biller receives $20,000 Scholarship
Maysoon Biller, a PhD student with research interests that focus on children with autism as they develop verbal imitation skills, was awarded a scholarship from the Council of Academic Programs and in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Biller will be presented with a $20,000 check to support the completion of her PhD program during the 2016 CAPCSD Annual Conference in San Antonio, TX.
According to the notification letter from the CAPCSD there were 31 complete applications submitted in 2016. "Submissions were rated across all components of the proposal for their breadth, depth, overall quality, and letter of support," shared Dr. Richard C. Folsom, CAPCSD Vice-President for Academic Development. "Yours clearly rose to the top group of applications."
