Pasquale Bottalico to speak at 11th International Conference on Voice Physiology and Biomechanics
Assistant professor Pasquale Bottalico has been invited to speak at a pre-conference symposium at the 11th International Conference on Voice Physiology and Biomechanics on July 31. Bottalico will present on the topic “Vocal Effort, Vocal Fatigue, and Vocal Load: What, How and Where.” The pre-conference speakers are a cohort of leading speech and voice scientists, clinical experts and accomplished researchers in the areas of vocal fatigue and effort.
Dr. Bottalico’s research focuses on techniques utilized by the professional voice user and singer, as well as the definition and the quantification of vocal load. He also is interested in the fields of speech intelligibility, room acoustics and musical acoustics.
